COURSES&WORKSHOPS IN GERMAN
Level: Beginner (A0). Able to understand only a few words (0-150), simple phrases, no grammar skills.
Goals of the Course: To enable students to understand very basic communication; to be familiarized with enough basic words to have a simple conversation on the phone or express simple needs in writing. By the end of the course, students will have a basic understanding of some fundamental aspects of German grammar. Will have a working vocabulary of between 300 and 450 key words.
Suitable for: Those who require a basic knowledge of common German words and phrases in an office environment, who should understand basic communication to clarify dates, forward letters and simple internal messages or emails.
Lessons: 3 x 90 min. lessons per week for 10 weeks (45 hours)

Level: High-beginner (A1-A2). Able to understand 300+ key words, simple phrases, limited grammar skills.
Goals of the Course: To enable students to build upon their basic knowledge of the language and improve their day-to-day communication; to increase their vocabulary to better express themselves in-person, on the phone and in writing. By the end of the course, students will have a better understanding of the fundamental aspects of German grammar. Will have a working vocabulary of between 750 and 1000 key words.
Suitable for: Those who require a functional knowledge of common German words and phrases in an office environment, who should understand and be confident using basic communication in discussions on familiar topics or projects with colleagues and clients.

Level: Intermediate(A2-B1). Able to understand 1000+ key words, common phrases and idioms, improved passive and active knowledge of grammar.
Goals of the Course: To enable students to build confidence with daily and technical forms of communication; to use their growing vocabulary to discuss topics in specialist fields as well as in everyday communication (chit-chat) with confidence and fluency; eliminate basic errors and form more complex sentences using appropriate grammar structures. Will have a working vocabulary of between 1000 and 1500 key words.
Suitable for: Those who require a technical knowledge of German in an office environment, communicating with colleagues, superiors and clients on a regular basis. Ideal for team leaders, project managers, supervisors and high-level managers or managers'assistants.

Level: High-intermediate(B2-C1+). Able to understand 1500-2000+ key words, expressions, phrases and idioms, a solid knowledge of most aspects of grammar and ability to produce fluent sentences with a high degree of accuracy.
Goals of the Course: To enable students to have command of the language in a variety of social, professional and academic contexts. To be able to discuss complex topics and issues and express their point of view with only relatively minor errors and few opportunities for misunderstanding. Will have a working (active) vocabulary of between 2000 and 2500 key words and a passive knowledge of many more.
Suitable for: Those who require a high level of technical knowledge of German in an office environment, communicating with colleagues, superiors and clients on a daily basis. Ideal for team leaders, project managers, supervisors and high-level managers and executives or their assistants.

Goals of the Course: To enable students to have command of the language in a variety of social, professional and academic contexts, especially regarding specialist and expert terminology within the students' field of work (e.g, law, medicine, engineering...). To be able to discuss complex topics and issues and express their point of view with minimal errors. Will have a working (active) vocabulary of between 3000 and 3500+ key words and a passive knowledge of many more.
